Flight Medic Job description
The Flight Nurse acts as a professional clinical representative of TriState CareFlight, LLC. (TRISTATE CAREFLIGHT) and is accountable for completion of all TriState CareFlight work assignments. Provides high quality nursing care including assessment, triage, and treatment utilizing standards and guidelines established by TriState CareFlight and Medical Director(s); assesses the nature and extent of illness or injury to establish and prioritize the care needed for safe transport of the critical patient to the appropriate facility; is qualified to provide care for patients across the life-span in his/her assigned clinical area; responsible for carrying out the mission and goals of TriState CareFlight, assuring that safety remains the highest priority throughout the transport continuum.

Must have current and unlimited practice License/Certification in state of assigned practice commensurate with position.
Meet and maintain all qualifications as a flight nurse.
Must have BLS, ACLS, PALS, CAMTS approved trauma course i.e.: ITLS/TNATC/TNCC/PHTLS (with advance skills)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
NRP strongly encouraged.
Specialty Certification: CFRN, CCRN, CEN required within 2 year of hire. Maintain a crew weight of 220 lbs. (with full gear)
Minimum of 3 years in an ICU/ER environment
