Flight Nurse

Summit Air Ambulance has an opening in Montana for a full-time Flight Nurse. Position could be based in Helena (fixed/rotor wing) or Bozeman (rotor wing) base at candidate's choice.
Position will cover assignments at both locations to start but could work into full-time at one as opportunities arise. Previous flight experience is not required.
The Flight Nurse provides emergency and critical care as part of a RN/Paramedic flight crew. You maintain thorough patient care documentation. Crews perform scene and inter-facility transports of adult and pediatric patients. Crew members are expected to participate in community outreach and educational activities in addition to patient care and flight related responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications
Associates Degree.
3 years recent ICU/CCU/ER experience
Current ACLS/PALS/BLS/PHTLS or ITLS
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Basic computer skills (word, excel, outlook, database)
Able to lift 100 lbs. with assistance
235 lbs. body weight limit (ready for flight - full gear)
Preferred candidate will have bachelor degree, previous flight experience, and current instructor certificate in one or more of the following areas: ACLS, BLS, PALS, PHTLS, or ITLS.
